June Behind the Scenes

     Well my favorite month of the year (and the one that has my birthday) has rolled around once again (finally) and Jagex has released a Behind the Scenes article with a whole bushel of odd new updates that promise to be pretty good! Here's the gist of what you can expect:

• Deadliest Catch master quest that lets the player come face to face with the "Thassalus" sea monster that was voted on in the last content poll. Plus extra experience for hunting the monster again. 
• Troll Invason distraction and diversion which allows you to go to Buthorpe and fight, defend, or repair the castle against the attacking trolls to earn experience rewards.
• Members Loyalty Rewards granting either long-time Members or those who have played for a long time (not sure about this yet) extra benefits such as exclusive items and titles.
• New 'Aura' player worn slot with items providing stat boosts just like normal armor. 
• New emotes and 'titles' from the Members Loyalty Program.
• [POSSIBLY] Fremmenik Sagas (see last month's BTS)

     So it all looks pretty good, but I'm definitely most interested in that Loyalty Rewards Program. I'm hoping it works depending on how long you've played - not how much membership you've purchased - as I'm looking forward to grabbing some of that new "exclusive" stuff.
